My experience with swengines so far is a great one. I was looking for a good cheaper motor for my wifes 2002 jeep and i found just what i needed here. So far so good! I would definitely buy from again and highly recommend them to anyone.

When I first found the engine I thought hey this is exactly what I need. I went through the process of buying the engine paid for it. Then I thought to my self I have never heard of SWEngines and googled them. I found a lot of negative things being said. I called them to discuss this issue and the manager assured me that there would be no problems and if there were I could just reverse the charges on my credit card, I thought ok I will take a chance. I took delivery of the engine two weeks later had a service technician look it over and he said it looked to be in good condition. I then had him install the engine and it has run fine without any issues sense. I feel that I received a good deal from SWE and have no regrets from the purchase, Thanks very much SWEngines!

My trusted mechanic, who was initially skeptical, said everything on the '97 Fl50 SWE Engine with ~64Kmiles on it checked, including compression of ~140 psi in all 8 cylinders. Everything sounds tight, no valve chatter, and the engine makes my 126K mile truck drive like when it was newer. I hope I'm as pleased in 3 years when the SWE warranty on the engine expires

Engine purchased was clean exactly what I ordered and at a reasonable price shipping could of been a little quicker but overall a very good experience

I was disappointed that SWEngines didn't check the Vin Number to make sure I had ordered the correct Engine. I admit I had made a mistake, as to which Engine I needed. Primarily because I have Two 2004 Ford F150 Trucks. due to the fact iI had purchased one Truck earlier than the Other, I assumed the Earlier Purchase was the older Truck. After finding the Wrong Engine had been shipped to me. SWEngines then contacted Ford, with the Vin Number, to verify which Engine I actually needed. This mIstake cost me $490.00 in extra Shipping Charges. IN the Future, I believe SWEngines should always check the VIn #, to make sure the Customer gets the correct Engine they need. Would I purchase another Engine from SWEngines. - the answer is a definite Yes:

I'm pleased with my purchase through SW engines. The motor came as expected, within 14 days and it was well secured when received. The motor was clean and ready to be installed. My mechanic had no issues with motor and was able to install new motor in one day. Only had issue with themostat and a intake sensor. Motor runs great and have had no issues. Great service for anyone looking for a low mileage motor.

While the time to get the Engine was a little longer than I anticipated it came in freshly painted, cleaned and was in good working order. It was shipped on a pallet and shrink wrapped. My Mechanic was equally impressed with the appearance and quality of the parts. Thank You

Engine was exactly what I needed. A little late in delivery but all went well.

Was better than I expected for a used engine. Clean and nicely shipped. Fired right up and quiet no rod knock at all.

The goods supplied (used engine) was in good condition. The supplied parts fit the application required with no issues. I would recommend using their services in the future.

Engine was great. Started right up. But fuel rail inlet was bent in shipping as well as heater tubing. Overall everything was great

My sons Nisson 350Z engine needed replacing and SWE engines had a replacement motor..thank God. The staff I spoke with was professional and answered my questions to put my mind as ease buying a engine over the internet. I don't know anything about engines but when the motor arrived at my mechanic shop they said I bought a quality engine. My shop guys were impressed with the packing for shipment, especially the motors condition and I even received a 3 year warranty. The shipping could be quicker but with the money I saved I was pleased. Greg Myers

Time. Not everyone has time to wait when you only have one car. It was quite tough waiting. That said, my recommendation is that if you can afford to wait a few weeks(time for SWE to prepare the engine and your shop to install) then by all means this is THE only way to go. The Engine for my 2000 Dodge Intrepid is nothing short of FANTASTIC! My car feels new! The Engine was super clean, and in perfect function. Clearly beats buying a used car. In the end, glad I made this choice. Thanks SWE.

While I have to admit after I ordered my engine for my 2004 Nissan Murano I read all the negitive reviews I was VERY worried...I called in a few times...they reassured me that it does take about 14 business days and they didn't have a tracking number....so I waited as it does in fact say it takes 14 days. I actually received my engine in 12 days. It was exactly what it was suppose to be, my mechanic inspected and installed. He said it was clean looked very good it started right up on the first try, my car is running beautifully!! Gas mileage is better than my old engine....no complaints.
